Jared Says for January 2000!

As the new year has been rolling around the globe I've been reflecting on how my buying and selling has played out over this past year.

Winter is normally my slowest season. I try to make purchases and eliminate unsold stock. However, with the advent of auction sites my selling season has  extended to become a year round event.

Previously, it was typically April/May to October. In January I put out ads in local papers and put whatever items I had left from the prior year into country-type auctions. This method assured that in spring I started out with new items and not just the same ones from prior sales.

As alway, success depends upon buying,  and buying at the right price.

Persistence is also paramount to success.

I would like to thank everyone who responded during this past year to my eBay sales, and provided comments to my web site. I would especially like to thank Stephaine Sullivan of AVIA! web development and hosting. I owe a debt of gratitude for her support, ideas and encouragement. Thanks Stephaine!
