Jared Says for April 2002
April is one of my favorite months. It signals the end of the New England winter, but most important it begins senior softball and major league baseball. It is also time for my annual predictions.

Last year I did not pick AZ in my final 6 although I had the other 5 and lost out in the World Series It was a terrific series and my congratulations to AZ fans.

This year I will go with the Yankees(although the Red Sox could give them a run this year), Mets, Cardinals, Athletics, Giants, and White Sox. Most improved teams are the Mets and White Sox. Dark horse Giants and Seattle.

If you are looking for a bargain look no further than going to see the Expos (www.expos.mlb.com ). Great restaurants, US dollar is strong and the best seats are $42C and it is not crowded. This could be their last year and I am going to try to spend some time there this season.

Any interest in pre-1980 sports cards, especially baseball? Let me know as I am trimming down my stocks.
